Barkers does not believe in using harmful restraints or sedatives when grooming your pet. Whilst your dog is in our care, you can rest assured it is fully insured and in safe and caring hands. In addition, the emptying of anal glands and nail cutting are all inclusive in the price of the groom so there are no hidden costs for you.

Hand Stripping - A Speciality
Hand stripping is beneficial to dogs with coarse haired coats such as certain members of the terrier groups. When the coat has 'blown' the hairs can be stripped with the aid of stripping tools, to give a smooth, tidy coarse finish and feel. Neutering and spraying can affect the texture of the coat, making certain dogs not suitable for this method. Please call us for a consultation.
